Well it's been a significant amount of time since I've written anything here, so I think now would be a wonderful time to do it!

There is so much awesome stuff going on in my life right now! Of course I can't write it all here, but I'll give you the run-down.

1) I've been working with an awesome ministry call Operation Light Force that calls students to 40 days of prayer and fasting and encourages them to share Christ with blessing and servant evangelism. In only about 3 years they have already seen over 100,000 students start a revolution for Jesus Christ on their school campuses. I've been on staff with them since December as their "tech guy" doing the website design and management and I'll be getting into some video production as well. It's awesome to be using the giftings and talents God has given me for His glory.

2) With the web design, God has been teaching me a LOT! For about a month we had basically nothing but problems with the website hosting companies. We had to transfer hosting twice (between three companies) for one site: www.40dayrevolution.com, and once for the other site www.operationlightforce.com . The reason we had to transfer the one for 40 Day Revolution was because of the shopping car that we wanted on it. After we had spent a rather large chunk of money to buy the software for the cart, we soon found out that it wouldn't run on the companies server.. so we had to transfer to someone else. After about 3 weeks of some not-so-pleasant stress trying to make it work, we found that it simply wasn't worth the time that we had lost to stay with the company... so we switched again. BTW.. this is the VERY VERY short version of the story. So finally we transferred to another company that could host the site and would run the cart... and now... the site's working!!! Praise God!! There is still some "tweaking" to do, but overall... last week was the first really productive week that I had had in about a month and a half ( there was other stuff before all that ).

3) So now all of that is finished, and this past weekend I had the opportunity to go to Teen Mania's Acquire The Fire at the Ice Palace (I like that name better than whatever it is now). Words can't express what happened there. The alter calls ALONE made it worth it! The awesome messages, the phenomenal dramas, fantastic music, and the relationships that were made over the two days were al icing on the cake. Ya know? ATF rekindled my passion for the youth of this nation and around the world. What's really cool is that I believe OLF will be like that within the next 15 years! Hey.. you gotta start somewhere, and if in only 3 years they have already reached 100,000 students.. well... you do the math! It's just so cool.

4) And if that isn't enough... this coming Saturday (March 1st) I'm moving out into a house with 2 guys from church. That's a whole God thing in and of itself. I'll tell you more about that later. It's awesome though. In a nutshell I've been trying to move out for about 3 years... apparently God had other plans. Every time I tried to move based on what I wanted he'd slam the doors shut! This time, there has been basically nothing but confirmation and blessing associated with it. It's awesome. I'm looking forward to it, but I have to admit that I'm a little bit nervous, ya know? I mean.. I'm moving out in less than a week! It's actually happening! It's cool though. I know God's in it, so I have that peace though. So if you wouldn't mind, please pray for everything to go as smooth as it has been, and that the house will be a lighthouse for the community and a place of prayer and love. Thanks.

So that's basically what's been going on for the last 2 months. Of course now God reminds me of some other stuff so here it is.. this time the Reader's Digest version.

5) Also on March 1st, I'll be going to youth pastor's conference near New Port Richey That's going to be an awesome EVENT filled day, you know.. with moving and all, but I'm looking forward to it. Last year was awesome, and hopefully this year I'll be able to get some tools to help me with...

6) Small group leader. I'll be leading a group for youth guys at the church I attend. I'm looking forward to use my Spiritual Gifts of Pastoring, Encouraging, and Teaching to shepherd these guys. It's gonna be great.

7) And if that's not enough... I'll also be teaching on Wednesday night with my good friend and youth/discipleship pastor of the church, Chuck Ammons. I'll be using creative illustrations to share God's Word to the youth in a way that they can relate. Sometimes I'll just do a spontaneous object lesson using whatever they hand me, other times it'll be more planned using whatever God had laid on my heart, and other times it'll be with magic!

8) And last, but certainly not least, I'll be the tech guy as well on Wednesday nights and I'll have an apprentice to teach the tech stuff to as well has hopefully mentor him and to learn from him as well.

So all of THAT is what's happening in my life. It's great. Of course it's not all easy, but man is it worth it! Hehe... it's a good thing I didn't go into DETAIL!
