Well today ended my journey at Papa John's. ::sniff sniff::
I'm officially self-employed now. It's scary, but exciting! Figuring out how to work my schedule has been the biggest challenge. I have a lot of work to do: developing 6 websites, designing logos, beginning the process of incorporating my business Visual Media Masters, etc. What I've noticed though, is that if you don't PURPOSEFULLY make time to spend with God, you won't.
I hate getting to bed at night only to realize that the only time I prayed was the 5 seconds to thank God for the day. Then go to bed.
I love talking/singing to God, but yet distractions seem to creep up so often to keep me from Him. When I let my guard down, I quench the Spirit. Not fun.
As I've read what I've written, I see that this is probaly the most scattered post I've had. Probably because I don't know how to put into words how much it stinks to not spend time with God.
My prayer is that you won't experience that. I pray that you'll see how much God loves you and how much He WANTS to spend time with you. I pray that GOD would see how much you love HIM and how much YOU want to spend time with Him.
Also, please pray for me that I would keep Jesus as the front, center, and end of everything I do. Thank you. God Bless You!

Just wanted to let you know that you’re not the only one who struggles with that but just keep setting your mind to it, the excuses aside, and commit to it! It’s a hard habit to develop because it’s not just the flesh that doesn’t want you there but just keep going for it and in time you’ll find that you can wait till you’re there. I’m still on this journey, believing that a day will come when Heaven will rain down on my time in the secret place, until then, I press on knowing that He’s worth all of me. Keep going, YOU CAN DO IT!!! Also there is the perfect book for you to read, it’s so full of revelation and treasures STRAIGHT from Heaven itself! It’s called Secrets of the Secret Place by Bob Sorge ~ You might need to look on the net to get it because it can be difficult to find in stores but it’s SO worth it, it’s absoultely revolutitonized my time with God. Recommend it to anyone you know struggling in this area or even not struggling in this area, it’s AWESOME!!! *Side note, checked out your web resume, looks great. I’ll be believing for you to see, soon, the favor of God at work in your life. Just remember, you don’t have to beg for it, it’s already there! PEACE HOME SLICE!!!!
I know self-employment will fly like nothing to you. It’ll be so cool doing what you love doing and making a living doing it! The site looks awesome. I like the little ‘paultejera’ in the corner. Sometimes I wonder If I spend enough time in the day with God…..

Just keeping pressing in towards Him. Remember don’t ever condemn yourself, there’s no condemnation in Christ Jesus. Keep focused when times get tough, and don’t lean on your own understanding.
