Well it looks like I'm in the market for a new car. My '95 delSol is finished. I wasn't in an accident or anything. For the past several weeks it hasn't been starting easily and the last 2 days it hasn't started at all, so today my dad and I set out to fix it. We called our mechanic to ask him what he thought it was, and after the conversation, we started to get to work.

Long story short, we changed the distributor cap, ignition coil, gave it oil, and then started to change the spark plugs. The spark plugs did it in.

My car has overheated a lot in the last year and (this is purely speculation) apparently the overheating welded the spark plugs to the engine. The reason we say that is because they were WAY to difficult to get out. So much so that (here's the problem) one of the plugs snapped in half inside the engine.

It would simply cost more than the car is worth to even try to get the plug out, and then to top it off that may not be the problem with starting it anyway!

The good news is that I get to see how God is going to be God in this situation. I have an incredible peace about everything. I don't exactly look forward to spending the $$$, but I know that God will provide.
